Born in Padua, Italy, Claudia Vanni attended the Fine Arts Academy in Venice. She is currently an art teacher. Her main artwork explores the use of the camera, marrying the painting heritage with technology.

Some of her works are displayed at the Photographic Archive Gondola of Palazzo Fortuny, Venice, and the Centre for Photographic Research and Archiving of Villa Ciani, Lestans (PN).
