Denis Volpiana was born in Vicenza (Italy) and graduated at the Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti in Milan.

The main aspect of his canvases are the marked fractures that isolate irregular segments of colour from each other, small fragments that appear to float on the backgrounds as myriads of islands within an imaginary sea.

Denis Volpiana’s works have been featured in various solo and group exhibitions across Italy and most recently during his London exhibitions curated and organised by Meet Art Projects.
