Turi Avola is a Rome-based Italian photographer based. He portrays women in surrealistic and dreamy contests.

His in-depth study of artists such as Man Ray, Hans Bellmer, Francesca Woodman, Joel-Peter Witkin, Luis Bunuel and Jan Švankmajer, among others, pushed him towards a breakthrough in his creative phase and gave him the urge to use the camera as a meaning of expression.
